SENATE BILL 7 PASSED THE HOUSE WITH AN AMENDMENT. THE SENATOR FROM FRANKLY, SENATOR STANLEY. THANK YOU, MR. PRESIDENT. I MOVE THAT WE CONCUR WITH THE HOUSE AMENDMENT AND SPEAKING TO THE MOTION. THE SENATOR HAS THE FLOOR. THANK YOU, MR. PRESIDENT. MEMBERS OF THE BODY, THIS BILL, SENATE BILL 7, IS REGARDING PROVIDING COUNSELORS, ATTORNEYS TO THOSE PARENTS WHO ARE DIDN'T GI INTELLIGENT WHO MAY BE FACING THEIR CHILDREN GOING INTO FOSTER CARE. WHAT THE BILL ORIGINALLY DID WAS TO MAKE SURE WE HAD THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF COURT-APPOINTED COUNSEL AT -- BE AND POINTED TO THOSE CASES, SO IT GAVE MORE VERSATILITY AND DISCRETION TO THE COURT, WHICH IS SURPRISING COMING FROM THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, SO I THINK IT MADE THE BILL BETTER AND THEREFORE, I WOULD NOW RENEW MY MOTION THAT WE CONCUR WITH THE HOUSE AMENDMENT.
