Description

Initial licensure fee waiver for certain teachers. Requires the Board of Education to waive any fee charged for initial licensure as a teacher for any (i) individual who served in the Armed Forces of the United States, Reserves of the Armed Forces of the United States, Virginia National Guard, or Virginia Defense Force and who was discharged or released from such service under conditions other than dishonorable; (ii) member of the Armed Forces of the United States, Reserves of the Armed Forces of the United States, Virginia National Guard, or Virginia Defense Force; or (iii) spouse of any member of the Armed Forces of the United States, Reserves of the Armed Forces of the United States, Virginia National Guard, or Virginia Defense Force.
