IMMIGRANT RELOCATION. AND WHEN YOU TALK TO OUR SCHOOL SYSTEMS, THEY ARE TRYING TO GET A HANDLE ON HOW MANY STUDENTS THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE TO COME IN SO WEAVE TO HAVE ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE, ESL TEACHERS AND THESE SORT OF THINGS. THIS BILL SAYS BASICALLY THAT THEY ARE GOING TO TAKE THE NON-IDENTIFYING DATA FROM THESE REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT AGENCIES FROM THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE AND SOME OF THOSE FOLKS WHO DEAL WITH THAT, THE STATE DEPARTMENTS, TO BRING THESE FOLKS INTO OUR COUNTRY, AND REPORT THAT DATA TO THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES WHICH WILL IN TURN GENERATE A REPORT FOR THOSE OF US IN THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND GOVERNOR'S OFFICE, SO WE KNOW WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS, WHO IS NOT, WHAT ARE THOSE HEALTHCARE COSTS, SO WE CAN ANTICIPATE THOSE, SAME WITH TANF. IT WILL ALLOW US THE OPPORTUNITY AT THE LOCAL LEVEL FOR OUR SCHOOL BOARDS AND THOSE FOLKS THAT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE IMMIGRANTS THAT ARE COMING IN, THE LEGAL IMMIGRANTS THAT ARE COMING IN, TO KIND OF PLAN FOR THAT, AS WELL AS INTERPRETERS IN SCHOOL AND THOSE SORT OF THINGS. SO I KNOW THERE WAS SOME CONFUSION ON THE COMMITTEE, MAYBE, BECAUSE THE PATRON OF THE BILL PROBABLY DIDN'T
