BILL TO AMEND AND REENACT RELATING TO HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS VERIFIED UNITS OF CREDIT SATISFACTORY SCORE ON THE PTAB. THE GENTLEMAN FROM LOUDOUN, MR. DREASON. IT ADDED AN ADDITIONAL TEST TO THE BILL AND CAME OUT UNANIMOUSLY HERE AND THERE WITH THE IDEA THAT WE WOULD ADD PSAT WHICH IS THE UNDERLYING BILL, THE SENATE WANTED TO ADD THE PREACT WHICH WE THOUGHT WAS A PRETTY GOOD IDEA SO I WILL ASKDel. Dave LaRock (R-Loudoun): the conference report.
[Unknown]: Mr. Speaker.
Del. Dave LaRock (R-Loudoun): the gentleman from charlottesville, Mr. Toscano.
Del. David Toscano (D-Charlottesville): will the gentleman yield for a yes?
[Unknown]: will the gentleman yield?
Del. David Toscano (D-Charlottesville): I will.
[Unknown]: I ask the gentleman can he explain to us what this bill does? Mr. Speaker.
Del. Bill Howell (R-Fredericksburg): the gentleman from charlottesville. The bill proposes an initiative that would instruct the department of social services to investigate public service -- public assistance applications looking for fraudulent applications and focus on employment, death records, lottery records and a couple of other categories.
[Unknown]: will the gentleman yield for a question? I will. the gentleman yields. I sort of remember this is the check the lottery winnings bill and I guess my question is in the conference report does it include a requirement that before an eligibility determination is made the dss will have to check the lottery records to make sure people haven't won any money that would disqualify them from benefits. Is that still in the bill in the conference report? it would check the records to see if they have won any lottery money, yes. thank you. shall the conference report be adopted?
Del. Bill Howell (R-Fredericksburg): I'm sorry. The gentleman from fairfax. thank you, Mr. Speaker. I just want to speak to the bill, conference report. And maybe answer the gentleman from albermarle's question. the gentleman has the floor.
[Unknown]: it bill does draw down federal money to help do it. My understanding from the Members please sake your seats.
