Description

Ballots; number ordered to be printed. Requires the general registrars to consider the number of active registered voters and historical election data, including voter turnout, when determining the number of ballots to order to be printed for an election. The bill also requires the general registrars to order additional ballots when directed by the Department of Elections to do so. Currently, the Department has the authority to direct the general registrars to order additional ballots, but there is no statutory requirement that the general registrar do so. Read the Bill »
