Description
Virginia Tobacco Region Revolving Fund; definition of project. Revises the definition of "project" under the Virginia Tobacco Region Revolving Fund to mean any proposal recommended for loan evaluation and disbursement by the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission, subject to such conditions and policies as agreed to by both the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission and the Virginia Resources Authority. Del. Terry Kilgore (R-Gate City): Mr. Speaker, ladies and gentlemen of the house, I would ask that we accept the governor's substitute. The substitute clearly defines the type of project that the tobacco commissions resolving fund can loan money to fund -- can loan money to. I hope it would be the pleasure of the house to adopt the substitute.
