Del. Bill Howell (R-Fredericksburg): DISCRIMINATING AGAINST ANYONE ELSE FOR HEALTHCARE OR ANYTHING ELSE.
[Unknown]: THE SENATOR FROM ALEXANDRIA. I DON'T SEE ANY FROM ARLINGTON HERE. BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHEN HE SAID EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE DISCRIMINATING AGAINST WHAT? IF I COULD ASK HIM? DENIED HEALTHCARE THROUGH THESE ORGANIZATIONS. I CAN'T GIVE EXAMPLES OF ANYONE DENIED HEALTHCARE. IT IS NOT MY BILL. BUT, SIR, IF I COULD JUST SPEAK BRIEFLY TO THE BILL. SENATOR HAS THE FLOOR. THANK YOU. FIRST, YOU KNOW, I WONDER WHY -- I KNOW IT'S NOT NECESSARY FOR US TO PASS THIS LEGISLATION. WE DON'T HAVE ANY EXAMPLES OF THIS HAPPENING FROM LAST YEAR. IT IS BROADER THAN LAST YEAR'S BILL. AND NOW TALKS ABOUT TAX PENALTIES, WHICH I AM NOT AWARE OF ANYONE EVER PROPOSING A TAX PENALTY FOR SOMEONE'S
Del. Chris Jones (R-Suffolk): issue with norfolk state to meet and our dearly departed norfolk state. colleague's office and discuss And that was the first time I really sat down with daun to just see her up close and personal and I was impressed with her demeanor her intellect and resolve to address something that was going to be probably a sticky wicket if you want to use that term. She was more than having to discuss openly with what the challenges were at norfolk state and the thinks she thought ought to occur. I was so impressed I ask the speaker, delegate cox and I do put sherr on the appropriations committee. She has served since 2014 on the committee and I have been impressed with her. Quincy I know will be glad to have her gone full time, not gone January and February each and every year.
