ACLU-VA Criminal Justice, tracking this bill in Photosynthesis, notes:

The ACLU of VA supports increasing the Felony Larceny threshold to $1,500. While this bill is a step in the right direction, it barely adjust the threshold to keep up with inflation ($200 in 1980s dollar amount, the last time the threshold was increased, is about $600 in today's dollar amount)
