Description
Performance of abortions. Eliminates the requirement that two other physicians certify that a third trimester abortion is necessary to prevent the woman's death or impairment of her mental or physical health. Amends § 18.2-74, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »

Regardless of your views on "Pro Life" or "Pro Choice", a second and third medical opinion on decision as important as abortion in the third trimester is good thing. Does this legislative change restrict a woman's right's to a second and third opinion is she wants one?
