A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 15.2-2022.1, relating to turns in certain residential areas; resident stickers.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 15.2-2022.1 as follows:

§ 15.2-2022.1. Turns in certain residential areas; resident stickers.

Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection A of § 15.2-2000, or any other provision of law, a county  [ operating under the urban county executive form of government  ] may by ordinance develop a program to issue permits to residents of a designated area that will allow such residents to make turns into or out of the neighborhood during certain times of the day where such turns would otherwise be restricted.
