Description

Vehicles stopped at crosswalks; prohibition on passing. Prohibits the driver of a vehicle from overtaking and passing a vehicle stopped at a marked crosswalk to permit a pedestrian to cross the highway. Read the Bill »

I am surprised that this is even a possibility! (I do know its a common practice) -- I thought if a pedestrian is in a cross-walk, cars were not allowed to enter. Alas, I have often found that cars think okay to swish around pedestrians (front and back) who are walking in the cross walk.
