Mortgage loan originators. Repeals provisions relating to the issuance of transitional mortgage loan originator licenses and replaces them with provisions granting temporary authority to act as a mortgage loan originator. The bill conforms Virginia's law with requirements in the federal Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act. The measure also conforms provisions related to the expiration of mortgage loan originator pre-licensure education courses. Amends § 6.2-1700, § 6.2-1701, § 6.2-1706, § 6.2-1707, § 6.2-1708, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
