SB1135: Child in foster care; child identified as having a developmental disability.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That the local department of social services shall notify the appropriate community services board as soon as it is known that a child in the foster care system has a developmental disability so that the community services board may screen the child for placement on the statewide developmental disability waiver waiting list.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services shall amend the criteria for determining the priority status of individuals on the waiting list for services under the Community Living Waiver to include individuals with developmental disabilities who will exit foster care and require waiver services within one year in the Priority One status.
