Description

Private collectors; delinquent taxes and other charges. Allows a local treasurer to employ private collections agents to assist with the collection of delinquent amounts due other than delinquent local taxes. Current law allows only for the collection of delinquent taxes by private collections agents. Amends § 58.1-3919.1, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
