Limitation of prosecutions; misdemeanor sex offenses against minors. Extends the statute of limitations period for prosecuting certain misdemeanor sex offenses where the victim is a minor at the time of the offense to 20 years after the victim reaches majority. Current law provides that such offenses must be prosecuted within a year after the victim reaches majority. Read the Bill »
