Annual local audit; enforcement; civil penalty. Provides an enforcement mechanism if a locality that is late in completing its required audit fails to give proper notification of the delayed audit. Such enforcement may include a writ of mandamus and a civil penalty of between $500 and $2,000. Read the Bill »
