Description

Motor vehicle dealer advertising. Repeals provisions of the Motor Vehicle Dealer Act (the Act) that state the intent of the article as it relates to advertising and provide that the Commissioner of the Department of Motor Vehicles is solely responsible for the enforcement of the article. The bill retains existing language clarifying that the authority granted in the Act is in addition to the authority granted pursuant to the Virginia Consumer Protection Act. This bill is a recommendation of the Virginia Code Commission. Read the Bill »
