Description
Department of Criminal Justice Services; powers and duties of Director; law-enforcement training standards. Eliminates the Committee on Training that currently exists under the Criminal Justice Services Board (the Board) as the policy-making body responsible to the Board for effecting the compulsory minimum training standards for law-enforcement officers, deputy sheriffs, jail and correctional officers, and dispatchers and gives those responsibilities to the Director of the Department of Criminal Justice Services.
