Description
Armed robbery; penalty. Increases the punishment for robbery by the threat or presenting of firearms, or other deadly weapon or instrumentality whatsoever, by including a mandatory minimum term of confinement of five years. Under current law, such offense is punishable by a term of confinement in a state correctional facility for life or any term not less than five years, which remains the same, but current law does not include a mandatory minimum term of confinement.
