SENATE BILL NO. 344
AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE
(Proposed by the Senate Committee on Rules

A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding sections numbered 1-241.1 and 1-241.2, relating to the Senate Committee on Finance and the Senate Committee for Courts of Justice; name change.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding sections numbered 1-241.1 and 1-241.2 as follows:

§ 1-241.1. Senate Committee on Finance and Appropriations.

Any reference to the "Senate Finance Committee" or the "Senate Committee on Finance" in the Code of Virginia shall mean the Senate Committee on Finance and Appropriations.

§ 1-241.2. Senate Committee on the Judiciary.

Any reference to the "Senate Courts of Justice Committee" or the "Senate Committee for Courts of Justice" in the Code of Virginia shall mean the Senate Committee on the Judiciary.
