Description
Employee protection; discharge for protective order prohibited. Prohibits an employer from discharging, taking other retaliatory personnel action, or otherwise discriminating against an employee solely on the basis that such employee has filed for or has been issued an emergency protective order or a preliminary protective order against the employer or another employee of such employer. The bill establishes an administrative process for an employee that believes he has been discharged or discriminated against in violation against such prohibition. Read the Bill »
