Description

Property and conveyances; state of emergency; Emergency Housing Stability Protection Act; emergency. Creates provisions that can be activated by the Governor by executive order pursuant to a declared state of emergency that would give certain tenants who are behind on rent payments the ability to put those payments on a payment plan. The bill also protects such tenants from having possession of their dwellings taken from them. The bill contains an emergency clause. Read the Bill »
