Description
Leaving an unattended handgun in public; penalty. Makes it a Class 3 misdemeanor for a person to leave an unattended handgun in public view in any public place, including any public building or place where the public assemble, any street, highway, or other public conveyance, or any sidewalk abutting on any public street, alley, or lane of any town or city. The bill also provides that a second or subsequent violation is punishable as a Class 2 misdemeanor. Read the Bill »
