A BILL to require the Board of Education to temporarily extend certain teachers' licenses.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Board of Education shall grant a two-year extension of the [ renewable ] license of any [ public school teacher individual licensed by the Board of Education pursuant to its authority in subsection B of § 22.1-298.1 of the Code of Virginia ] whose license expires [ in 2021 on June 30, 2021, ] in order to provide the [ teacher individual ] with sufficient additional time to complete the requirements for [ relicensure licensure ] .
