Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That [ , during a public health emergency related to COVID-19 declared by the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, ] the Department of Medical Assistance Services shall deem testing for, treatment of, and vaccination against COVID-19 to be emergency services for which payment may be made pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1396b(v).

[ 2. That an emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage. ]
