VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER
An Act to permit the Board of Education to temporarily extend certain teachers' licenses.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Board of Education may grant a two-year extension of the license of any individual licensed by the Board of Education pursuant to its authority in subsection B of § 22.1-298.1 of the Code of Virginia whose license expires on June 30, 2022, in order to provide the individual with sufficient additional time to complete the requirements for licensure or license renewal.

2. That an emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
