Blog » Bills Pouring in for 45-Day Session

December 30th, 2016 by Waldo Jaquith

In less than two weeks—Wednesday, January 11—the legislature will convene in Richmond for a short session (as opposed to the biennial 60-day session, in which the budget is established). Bill pre-filing has been underway for months, but we’re hitting a pace of a dozen to two dozen bills daily at this point. The rate at which they’re filed will only increase during the days ahead.

Is the date on this blog actually 2016 or 2017?

This blog entry is from 2016. Otherwise it would be from almost a year in the future. :)
